Coburg (OTZ). On Wednesday in Coburg, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs honoured 62 "Unternehmen mit Weitblick" (translated: Companies with a Vision), among these the Hainichen-based NESTRO Lufttechnik GmbH. The Title
The ceremony took place for the fourth time running under the federal government’s programme "Perspective 50-plus - Employment Pacts in the Regions". This year, NESTRO received the award for the Jena Employment Pact Coop plus.
Coop plus had proposed this company as prize candidate because of its high-level commitment when it gave jobs to 13 new employees. The programme prepares people without job for a long time and older than 50 years for jobs. Pierre Engemann, Edith Schaube (Coop employee in Eisenberg) and the Hartz-IV-Arbeitsgemeinschaft (special workgroup) of the Saale-Holzland District had developed a solution for the gradual integration of the programme participants since mid-2008. "For them, finding jobs with a local company was the only way out of the Hartz-IV situation", a press release says.
It remains to be hoped "that the year 2010 will be equally successful and numerous companies follow the example of NESTRO." Quelle: OTZ (http://www.otz.de)
