The connection between the global requirement of greenhouse gas reduction and the production of straw as „waste product“ (in a situation of excessive nutrients in the field) caused NESTRO to develop and efficient combustion technology for renewable raw materials.

The Employment pact of the city of Jena "Coop+" focuses it´s work on integration of older long-term unemployed in an individual inclusion coaching. A company that benefits of it, is NESTRO Lufttechnik GmbH in Schkoelen/Thuringia. It was able to integrate this year, thanks to the project "Coop+", 13 long-term unemployed into its own company.
